Here's how you can make it simply more enjoyable:
Advance planning always helps to makes things smooth, so always book your tickets in advance. Bollywood Music Project tickets are now available on BookMyShow and there are five different categories of tickets. Make sure you read through the Terms & Conditions to keep it stress-free at the venue. It will help you with some vital instructions regarding your ID, e-ticket, booking ID, payment methods, etc.
You must reach the venue early. It makes the crowd management easier not just for you but also other music enthusiasts and of course, the organizers. Use the time to make yourself familiar with the venue, explore stuff and it is always good to know where the food counters, first-aid, washrooms, etc. are located. The entry for BMP starts at 2 pm.
Things to Carry:
Everything from food and drinks to first-aid is available at the venue, but you might need to carry an extra jacket because it is January and you are in Delhi. You'll be chilling, quite literally.
Things Not to Carry:
Professional cameras, any form of recording instruments, arms/ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol are not allowed from outside the festival. It is also advised that you do not carry any valuable items.
Be comfortable, that's all. You'll be standing and cheering, walking and grooving for a long time hence it is advised that you wear light and casual shoes. The rest is up to you because you know what's best for you.
Plan your commute according to the venue and the distance you have to travel. It is always great to use public transport for music festivals as it reduces the concerns of parking. It can also take you a lot of time to get to your parking space and escape the traffic after the event ends. However, there is parking space near the venue at the owner's risk.
Eat wisely and drink responsibly. You know you are there to enjoy but you must not cause any inconvenience to others. It is a music fest and everyone's there to have a good time. Stay hydrated all the time because you do not want to miss on an act because you fainted due to dehydration.
Even if you forget everything, just keep an open mind towards the music and the vibe!
