January 2016 is popping with color, and we loved it! Most of the magazines gave their covers a fresh start this year. Not just Elle and Cosmo, even Grazia and Vogue added many hues to make the covers look vibrant and fresh. Starting the new year on the right note is super important, and let’s just say the cover designers nailed it. We especially loved GQ’s cover. It has a certain masculine elegance to it that is oh-so-effortless! Filmfare has gone with its Bollywood dream team. So much star power and potential on one cover that it looks like a winner. Scroll and check out the covers.
Deepika Padukone’s Filmfare look was classy with a sheen of nude simplicity. We love the accentuated cheekbones and the danglers. On the Elle cover, Jacqueline’s pop-up and multi-patterned skirt stole our hearts! Elle is definitely all about ‘Fresh Fashion’ this year!
Grazia‘s cover has a mellowed Kriti Sanon looking pensive. Her ‘Don’t worry, be happy’ piece looks like an interesting read. Cosmo continued with the flavor and along with the sultry looking Lisa Haydon, the magazine talks about bad boys, a how-to break-up guide and a how-to piece about getting what you want in bed.
The men of the moment – Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh – were a picture of contrast. While Ranveer looked sharp on the GQ cover, Ranbir’s black and white image was titled ‘the grand resurrection’.
Verve‘s and Femina‘s content is as eye-catching as the ladies gracing their covers. Richa Chadha on Verve and Sonakshi Sinha on Femina look chique!
The Filmfare cover has Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and Sonam Kapoor. The cover is oozing with talent, style and galmour, and we luurvve the setting of the cover. Sonam Kapoor was on the Vogue cover in a floral pant-suit. However, considering it was the 100th issue, it lacked the zeal we were expecting to see.
