Verdict: A well made action entertainer.
Raja The Great starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles is directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju. Raja The Great marks a comeback of sorts for Ravi Teja who haven’t had a release for almost two years after Bengal Tiger. The music and the background score has been rendered by Sai Karthik while Mohana Krishna has handled the cinematography. Raja The Great is the third movie for director Anil Ravipudi and lead actress Mehreen Pirzada. For the first time, Anil Ravipudi is directing Ravi Teja and Mehreen. This is the second time that Anil Ravipudi is directing for producer Dil Raju after Supreme. Let’s see what is in store for the audience.
What’s It About
Lucky (Mehreen Pirzada) is the lovable daughter of Inspector Prakash (Prakash Raj) who has been raised without a mom. Prakash is a man with good attitude who loves to help people. This does not go down well with his four brothers. Prakash is killed by a ruthless villain (Vivan Bhatena) who is avenging his brother's death. Lucky, however, escapes from being killed and is put in safety by a police operation led by IG Sampath (Sampath Raj). Raja The Great (Ravi Teja) is born blind and the only son of Ananthalakshmi (Radhika) who is a lady police officer. Though Raja is blind, he is trained by her mom in all aspects that are required for him to become a police officer. Raja is on the police team who safeguards Lucky. What Raja does to beat the baddies and help Lucky forms the rest of Raja The Great.
Raja The Great is a perfect comeback movie Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. Raja The Great proved to have been worth the wait for Ravi Teja. He has carried the whole movie on his shoulders and has given a riveting performance as a blind man who is well trained. Mehreen is beautiful and the whole movie revolves around her character. Vivan Bhatena is the main antagonist who has excelled with his performance. Raja The Great works majorly for Ravi Teja and the humor elements that comes throughout the movie.
What Could Have Been Better:
Though the movie has its moments and is completely entertaining, there are more of repetitive elements that may not sync well with the audience who seek novelty. Nevertheless, Ravi Teja's screen presence after a long time will make up for it.

Raja The Great is a feast for fans of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. He is completely energetic and this movie will be another feather in his cap. Watch this movie if you seek two and half hours of pure, unadulterated entertainment.
