This Father’s Day, be ready to witness India’s rich musical traditions live on stage amidst the esteemed presence of classical music Pandits. Prathaa, an initiative of Vivikta Entertainers Pvt Ltd, organizes events that not only entertain but also provide deep cultural insights.
This is not the first time that they have devised such an indigenous idea as last year the stage was electrified by the jugalbandis between father-son duos – Shankar Mahadevan-Siddharth Mahadevan, Vidwan Vikku Vinayakram-Selvaganesh- Swaminathan and Taufiq Qureshi along with Shikhar Naad Qureshi. The performances were soul touching and won thunderous applause from the audiences. This success encouraged the organizers to come up with yet another concert in Pune earlier this year.
To continue the tradition, they are back again this month with another bunch of geniuses at the famed Shanmukhanada Hall in Sion, Mumbai.
The lineup boasts of great father-son/daughter duos like Kartic Kumar – Niladri Kumar, Rashid Khan – Suha Khan and Bhavani Shankar – Uma Shankar. To watch these legends performing live is definitely something you shouldn't miss.
