Biopics have always been a great challenge for filmmakers as well as the actors essaying the roles. However, to make a biopic on a breathing living personality is an onus. Getting the factual details right, even though some directors decide to take some creative liberties, understanding their persona, learning the mannerisms and doing justice to the real-life character – it`s a big responsibility. Eventually, it all depends on the actor’s ability to portray the character. Here are few of the biopics that have been made or are upcoming releases, when reel life actors met their real-life counterparts to learn nuances of the character and render the role picture perfect.

At their meetings, Milkha would do most of the talking, while Farhan was awed by his unflinching fighting spirit and tried to gauge and grasp the emotions he went through at each stage in his life.
