If you haven’t watched the trailer of the new Margot Robbie–starrer, Terminal, you’re missing out on something amazing. The actress has time and again proven that she needs no man to carry a film. Terminal – a drama thriller by Vaughn Stein – has the actress in the lead role, where she plays a curious waitress leading a dangerous double life. In the dark heart of a sprawling city, murderous consequences unravel in the dead of a night, as the lives of two assassins intertwine at the hands of this mysterious criminal mastermind hell-bent on revenge. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it? Watch the trailer here:
Doesn’t the trailer give you the feeling of déjà vu? Here are the five movies that Terminal reminds us of:
Much like the aforementioned murderess, this assassin sends shivers down your spine. Jennifer Lawrence played an intelligence agent, who would use her body and mind as weapons to lure her victims and ultimately kill them in sadistic and perverse ways.
Who has not watched Sharon Stone play the sexy seductress in this erotic neo-noir thriller? Like Terminal, this movie seems to focus on the overt sexuality and graphic depiction of violence, especially surrounding its lead character.
Charlize Theron was a formidable force, not to be messed with in this breakneck action-thriller. She played a spy – equally sensual and savage – willing to deploy any of her skills to complete her mission. Anyone who would stand in her way would be destroyed.
The Last Seduction
The 1994 neo-noir erotic thriller featured Linda Fiorentino in the role of a seductive murderess who double-crosses all the men in her life for passion and money. She is the unabashed assassin that gets away with crime using her mind and body.
You have to admit that Margot Robbie in Terminal seems like a more badass version of her character in the DC action film. She was as wild as she was amazing and we can’t wait to see her in the upcoming film.
