Sacha Baron Cohen’s Wackiest Roles

You may know Sacha Baron Cohen as Ali G, or Borat, maybe even Brüno. The English actor and comedian has been at the centre of much criticism for his controversial roles. The movie Borat has been banned in certain countries and the government of Kazakhstan also threatened him with a lawsuit. Even Brüno and The Dictator faced much flak for certain insensitive scenes. But Sacha Baron Cohen has been undeterred. His new release The Brothers Grimsby promises another rib-tickling roller coaster ride for the audience. Here are some more wacky avatars of Sacha Baron Cohen, some of which will leave you in splits:

Ali G in Ali G Indahouse
Borat Sagdiyev in Borat

Admiral General Haffaz Aladeen in The Dictator

King Julien XIII in the Madagascar series

Brüno Gehard in Brüno

Signor Adolfo Pirelli in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Thénardier in Les Miserables
