For everyone eagerly waiting to see Sanju Baba back on screen, he has finally arrived and how! The trailer of Bhoomi has been released and you could only see Mr. Dutt dominating the screen in every frame. He is looking magnificent in this revenge drama that shows him both in his nayak and khalnayak avatar, in less than three minutes.
Sanjay Dutt plays a father Arun who is living happily with his daughter Bhoomi (Aditi Rao Hydari). Like every father, Arun wants to marry her to a deserving groom but by the looks of it, something terrible happens on Bhoomi's wedding day that tears apart the small and happy world Arun and Bhoomi built for themselves. However, what actually happened has not been explicitly revealed in the trailer.
The trailer has glimpses of a court room along with many action sequences with Sanjay Dutt's smoldering angry face, smeared with dust and blood. It looks like an action packed revenge drama but there are also few father-daughter moments that make you go awww. Amidst all this, the only thing that stands out is Sanjay Dutt. This might be a time of built bodies and eight packs but the screen presence that Sanju Baba has, hardly anyone can replicate.
Aditi Rao Hydari has been given a strong character to play. The trailer opens and you see her dressed up as a bride with mysterious red eyes. Her character makes you want to know more about her. The trailer has been edited in a manner that you know what has probably happened yet there is a "probably" attached to it. One minute into the trailer and you see Sharad Kelkar and half your questions are answered. Yep, he is the bad guy.
There are also glimpses of other characters that may play a significant role in the movie – Shekhar Suman and Sidhant Gupta.
The trailer shows a doting father who is ready to take down everyone and everything intending to harm his daughter. Sanjay Dutt is coming back to the silver screen on 22nd September and the trailer has made the wait all the more difficult. Do not believe us? Watch the trailer here:
