Verdict: Allu Arjun all the way!
Amidst huge expectations arrives Allu Arjun’s Sarrainodu, in his first collaboration with Boyapati Sreenu, under the prestigious Geetha Arts banner. With all big names associated with the movie, it is quite obvious that the expectations are enormous. Let’s see if the team has fulfilled the expectations.
Gana (Allu Arjun) is a guy with attitude who does anything for justice. He returns from the army to correct the corrupt system within the country. He is surrounded by a loving family who understands all he does. Gana's family look out for a bride and find Mahalakshmi (Rakul Preet Singh) – Gana and Sripathi go to meet her and the family. In the meanwhile, Gana meets Divya (Catherine Tresa) a local MLA and falls in love with her. Parallel to this, there is another thread running in the form of atrocities committed by Vairam Dhanush (Aadi Pinisetty), who is the son of the CM and does whatever he wants to those who go against him. He is ruthless, barbaric and runs an illegal empire of his own. After a slew of incidents, Gana and Vairam Dhanush come face-to-face in an epic battle that can be seen as a battle between evil and good. Will Gana be able to change the system? Who will Gana marry? To know all this, go watch the extravagant action saga!
There are no words to describe the extra-terrestrial acting skills of Allu Arjun! With back-to-back blockbusters in the form of Race Gurram and S/O Satyamurthy, this will undoubtedly be the hattrick movie for the stylish star. Not to forget, his body language speaks volumes about the dedication he put in towards this character. Another praise-worthy character is the one donned by Aadi – Vairam Dhanush. One has to have guts to play the role of an antagonist while acting as hero, at the peak of his career. He has done full justice to his role. Catherine Tresa as the MLA is glamorous and Rakul Preet Singh as a village girl is beautiful, though with less make-up. Both add sufficient glamour quotient to the movie. Rest of the star cast are adequate.
In the technical department, it is Boyapati Sreenu’s show all the way. One would easily connect with his style of referring to his earlier flicks, and has to be appreciated for churning out a successful potboiler. Music and background score by S. Thaman raises the bar of the movie and all the songs are catchy and melodious. Allu Arjun’s dance movements and the background visuals in all the songs are enthralling. Cinematography by Rishi Punjabi is extraordinary. Action sequences are a step ahead of earlier Boyapati flicks. Production value by Geetha Arts is as usual at its best.
Why You Should Watch This Movie:
A complete action entertainer with an engaging story and an intense performance by Allu Arjun. This film is a definite watch. Way to go, Allu Arjun!
