Amazon Prime has released the trailer of the second season of its original show Inside Edge.
The mysterious Bhaisaab, who was constantly mentioned but never shown in the first season, is finally revealed to us in the form of Aamir Bashir. Meanwhile, Arvind Vashisht (Angad Bedi), who led the Mumbai Mavericks in the Power Play League (PPL) last season, has left to join the Haryana Hurricanes. Vayu Raghavan (Tanuj Virwani) is now the captain of the Mavericks, and the two men are expected to be at loggerheads with each other. While the first season’s premise was spot fixing, season two will deal with the issue of performance-enhancing drugs in sport.
Other chief characters like Mavericks’ stakeholder Zarina Malik (Richa Chadha), team analyst Rohini Raghavan (Sayani Gupta), spinner Devender Mishra (Amit Sial) and fast bowling prodigy Prashant Kanaujia (Siddhant Chaturvedi), all return for the second season. Apart from Bashir, the other new entrants include Sapna Pabbi and Luke Kenny. The last few seconds of the trailer reveal that Vikrant Dhawan (Vivek Oberoi), who was left beleagured at the end of the last season, is still not out of the picture.
