Summer Trends You Should Never Wear In Office

The hottest month of the year is here and the sun is bearing down upon us like an erupting volcano. However, summer is possibly the best season for fashion. You can try out a myriad of colors, or stick to the classic white or experiment with different cuts and patterns. Although this sweltering heat will make you wish for the bare minimum of clothing, there’s no doubt that the season will get you shopping for the latest trends, ideal for the summer. Mind you, if you’re planning to change your work wardrobe, here are some summer trends that you may not want to be seen in inside your office:
Crop Tops

With sweat running down your back, you may want nothing more than to bare it for some cool AC air. But crop tops are not office appropriate and should be avoided. Save them for the weekends!
Sheer Tops

Like crop tops, sheer is not ideal for the office either. Stick to light-colored cotton shirts for those 8 hours.
Shorts - BookMyShow

Denims are probably your worst enemy in the summer. But do not ditch them for a pair of shorts. Switch to trousers or leggings instead.
Halter Tops or Sleeveless Tops (for men)

Women, if you want to wear halter tops, pair it with a jacket. However, if it is too hot for double layers, a short-sleeved shirt works best. Men, leave those sleeveless vests at the gym. If you’re working indoors, sleeves are a must!
Caps or Hats

While a baseball cap or a big floppy hat will protect you from the blistering sun, stuff it in your bag as soon as you enter your work building. Let your hair get some fresh air while you’re in there.
Shades - BookMyShow

Just like caps, shades must be off once you’re indoors. Unless you want to risk looking like a douchebag or even worse, hungover!
Flip Flops

What screams summer more than a pair of nice colorful flip flops? Though they are comfortable, ditch them for a pair of office boots/shoes. Welcome them over the weekend or during a beach getaway.
