Encourage your child to be an ACE STAR !!!

For the past 16 years Raëll Padamsee has been conducting workshops for children. She is currently running her Speech and Drama, Converse and Create and the newly launched Zumbatomic workshops at 20 centres across Mumbai.

This Summer 2013 she brings to you, fresh new workshops that are designed to set your child’s imagination free through action based songs, music and movement and thereby developing their gross and fine motor skills. Kids will perform excerpts from Harry Potter and The Jungle Book and the synopsis for the same are mentioned below.

 The Harry Potter Workshop

It was the summer of 1997 when Harry Potter the bespectacled boy wizard walked into our lives through the sheer genius of J.K. Rowling’s writing. This summer Raëll Padamsee’s Academy for Creative Expression (ACE) takes you into the magical world of Harry Potter through a workshop designed around excerpts from the series.  The books chronicle the adventures of a wizard, Harry Potter and his friends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry’s quest to overcome the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort, whose aims are to become immortal, conquer the wizarding world, enslave non-magical people and destroy all those who stand in his way, especially Harry Potter.

Through this highly interactive workshop we hope to not only inculcate valuable lessons learnt throughout the series but also increase social interaction through theatre games, role playing, build on creativity and imagination through use of a prop and free flowing thought, facilitate teamwork, improve speech and diction, enunciation, confidence building and the ability to perform in front of an audience.
So come get sorted into your houses, learn to brew potions in the dungeons, play quidditch on your firebolts and have a fun magical time. Let the magic begin…

The Jungle Book Workshop

The Jungle Book is a story about the adventures of an abandoned Man cub “Mowgli” who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle and the friends he makes along the way. The Jungle Book Workshop will have kids performing to different excerpts from the book. Children will take up different roles like Mowgli the lost boy, Bagheera the panther, Kaa the python, Shere khan the tiger, Akela the wolf and Baloo the bear and so on.
