The Eat India Company Fest: About Food But Not Stopping Just There

Let’s put this one point across at the very onset – if you’re in Mumbai, you just HAVE to be at The Eat India Company Fest this weekend. Now that we have the message out loud and clear, let’s add another note, shall we? Head to this unique food festival for more than just to gorge on some lip-smacking, toothsome preparations. We don’t blame you if you didn’t see this coming. Yes, it is a food festival and it is even called The Eat India Company Fest but enough care has been taken to make Mumbai’s iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse just the place to be with your family this weekend.

For one, the children will be kept busy (fun busy, mind you) with several brands putting together various activities for them. Art & Craft partner of the event, Camlin Kokuyo will offer unlimited crafting options. Cakesmiths have marshmallow painting and other fun exercises planned. Millk‘s play area will have the kids running riot while the parents relax at the cafe. Creative Imagination will conduct bookmark and dreamcatcher-making workshops. And these are just a few that are planned. There are also sessions to introduce children to Indian Classical music, book-reading sessions and chocolate-making classes to look forward to.

Furthermore, there will be live music shows for attendees in the evening by artists and bands like Manasi Scott, Subhro Ganguly, Astitva and Ryan Sadri

Flash mobs, impromptu games and activities, a live cooking theater, jugglers and many more surprises are in store. And you thought we were kidding?

Lest we lose focus, The Eat India Food Festival has the best food experience at its very heart with over 60 food and restaurant brands involved. Renowned food chains like Social, Moti Mahal Deluxe, Maroosh, The Baker’s Dozen, Baskin Robbins, Mamagoto and many more have been curated for the weekend. Live pop-up kitchens will be set up by celebrity chefs like Impresario Hospitality’s Executive Chef, Chef Gresham Fernandes and several other top chefs in the country.

Food trucks, masterclasses and workshops and much more; The Eat India Company Fest will be a tough one to miss and definitely not something you will forgive yourself any time soon if you do.

So, for this 12th and 13th December, we have filled you (no pun intended) with all that you can expect and enjoy; you know where to head.

For now, head here for your tickets to the festival
