Throwback Thursday: 90s Films That Sparkled On Diwali

Festivals are the time that we take a break from our routines and spend some quality time with our near and dear ones. Festivals have become reasons for family get-togethers instead of the other way around. In recent years, we have also noticed Bollywood taking advantage of the festivities to release big-budget movies. This helps with maximizing profits and at the same time provides audiences with ample entertainment during the festive season. Salman Khan has managed to make himself synonymous with Eid as he has managed to churn out a release on Eid, year after year. There is yet another coveted date that filmmakers want to block before anyone else does. Yes, you guessed it right. It's Diwali. We see yet another year in which two major productions have lined up to entertain us. If you think this trend is only a decade old, you could not be more wrong. If we look back into the 90s, we see some super-duper hits of that time that might have reached that status because of their release during the festive season. Don't believe us? Have a look at it yourself.
