Tiger Shroff’s debut movie – Heropanti – was directed by Sabbir Khan and the after its success, the duo went on to work together in Baaghi. Starring Shraddha Kapoor and South star, Sudheer Babu, the film was a hit with its soundtrack getting extremely popular. The makers of Baaghi were quick to announce its sequel but for some reason, Sabbir Khan wasn't a part of the project. Choreographer Ahmed Khan will be directing Baaghi 2 which will release next year. The movie will most likely be the first time Tiger Shroff is paired with his real-life lover, Disha Patani. Till then fans of Tiger Shroff will get to see him in an all-new avatar in Munna Michel. And the good news is that the film is helmed by Sabbir Khan.
Khan and Shroff are known for action-packed films in which the actor performs some gravity defying stunts but in Munna Michael, he’ll be doing what he does best – dance. The film is a tribute to Michael Jackson, who Shroff claims is a huge inspiration. Munna Michael also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Niddhi Agerwal. Nawaz is known to play the villain in most films but in this one, he is the nice guy. The actor will be seen dancing alongside Shroff and to match steps with him, he underwent rigorous training.
Munna Michael has been shot in Mumbai itself and since the shooting took place at Vasai, Shroff traveled by train to save time. A video of him being spotted in a local train was all over the internet and the actor then had to make sure he covered his face while traveling. The Munna Michael trailer will be out today so don't forget to check this space for more updates about the movie. Munna Michael releases on August 21, 2017. Check out our review here.
