Turning 62 today, is Denzel Washington. Damn, 62 already? The actor, director, producer has received two Academy Awardsthree Golden Globe Awards and a Tony Award as well. Denzel was named after his father Denzel, who in turn was named after the doctor who delivered him, Dr. Denzel. Washington is one of only two African American actors to ever win an Academy Award for Best Actor; and is also the first African American actor to win two Academy Awards.
