6 Movie Albums You Need On Your Playlist Right Now

Life without music would be unimaginable. And in today’s times, when listening to music is as simple as downloading the latest tunes on your phone, it has become impossible to go without music for even a day. Whether we are at work, traveling, or even winding up after a long day, music is an integral part of our lives. Thankfully, Bollywood gives us new stuff all the time, to keep ourselves entertained for weeks. We usually have the latest releases on our playlist, even if they are on television all the time. Because if it is trending, we have got to have it!

As BookMyShow turns 10 in six days, we bring you the best Bollywood music albums of recent times, which you must have on your playlist. Whether you have seen these movies or not, you will enjoy their songs nonetheless. Take a look at our top six here:

Mubarakan

Back with another wedding film, Anees Bazmee gives us the wedding playlist of the season with his latest release. Foot tapping number and Punjabi rap songs, no wedding will be complete without music from his comedy, sung by Amaal MallikRishi RichSonu NigamMika Singh, and more. Some of our favorite hits include The Goggle Song and Hawa Hawa.

Munna Michael

The dance entertainer of the year has several peppy, groovy numbers you can dance to, even if you don’t have the skills of Tiger Shroff. Some of the best songs in the album are the title track, the electronic number Feel the Rhythm, the desi-western fusion Beat It Bijuriya, and Ding Dang, which is a tribute to the dance numbers of the 90s.

Jagga Jasoos

The movie is a musical marvel, and the songs just complement its charming storyline. Out of the 29 songs in the film, six have been released, with Arijit Singh being the voice behind four of them. The songs you need to download ASAP are Ullu Ka PathaGalti Se Mistake and Tukka Laga.

Mom

A.R. Rahman creates magic again, and this time, it is the much-hyped Sridevistarrer, Mom. His blissful orchestration, coupled with spectacular vocals, make this the album that stirs the soul. There are seven tracks in the album, our most popular being O Sona Tere LiyeChal Kahin Door and Muafi Mushkil.

Raabta

There is no reason you should not have this album already. The title song has been on our minds since the trailer of the film was out, and Deepika Padukone brings her own charm to it in the video. Other songs from this movie that we cannot get out of our heads are Main Tera Boyfriend and Sadda Move.

Hindi Medium

The credit for the popularity of this album goes to one song – Oh Ho Ho Ho. Reprised by Sukhbir from his popular song of the 00s – Ishq Tera Tadpave, the new version was also an instant hit. With typical Punjabi-style songs, another one that is still on everyone’s playlist is undoubtedly Suit Suit, sung by Arjun and Guru Randhawa.
