TV Series To Watch In A Week

After a very long day at work, we all love to unwind. It is always relaxing to return home to some form of entertainment. However, one may not always have the strength or the time for that. In such cases, an interesting TV series with a limited number of episodes, more precisely a mini-series, could possibly make the cut.

If you're looking for charismatic characters to swoon over, or want to revisit the past or solve mysteries, you're in the right place.

This show is about an English teacher Jack Epping, who goes back to the 60s and is able to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy. He, however, realizes that the past holds it own secrets and consequences that would not let him get away.

Here, a woman and a taxi driver meet. The two decide to spend the night together. The next morning, the woman is found dead. Did he kill her? If not, would anyone believe he is innocent?

A hot-tempered guest slaps a naughty child at a birthday barbeque. The child's parents, however, do not pay heed. This incident triggers various other incidents, which causes friendships to break.

And Then There Were None (2015) – 3 episodes
Based on Agatha Christie's book of the same name, this TV series revolves around eight people who are invited to a castle on an island. The only people living in the house are the servants who play a gramophone recording that accuses them of murder.

Olive Kitteridge (2014) – 4 episodes
This heart-breaking series is the story of a school teacher who is very demanding. Her nature brings suffering to her husband who is way too simple and her son, who isn't as smart as she would like him to be.

The Escape Artist (2013) – 3 episodes
This TV series is about Will Burton, a lawyer who has never lost a single case. Will, who specializes in felony, drops charges from a suspect in a crime, which results in unexpected consequences.

The Town is the story about an individual, Mark Nicholas, who returns to his hometown when he hears of a family tragedy. Thereafter, he begins to doubt that his parents have committed suicide and decides to uncover the truth.
