There’s a little less than two months for the year to end, and right now, there are just four big Bollywood films that are slated to release before 2017. Dangal, Befikre, Dear Zindagi, and Kahaani 2 are the hyped movies that will garner a lot of media attention. Aamir Khan has already begun promoting Dangal and is always spotted with his on-screen daughters – Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra – at various events. The makers of Dear Zindagi, on the other hand, have taken a different approach and are only revealing certain scenes from the movie. Fans who were eagerly waiting for the Dear Zindagi trailer, well, there won't be one. Besides the above-mentioned films, some Bollywood films that are releasing in 2017 are also making headlines. This film has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Firstly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had a tough time with the casting. Once the actors were finalized, there were issues with the budget. The film, which stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, has gone on floors recently. Padmavati releases on November 17th, 2017.
Since his previous movie Mohenjo Daro failed, there’s a lot riding on Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil. The film, which is directed by Sanjay Gupta, releases alongside Raees on January 26th, 2017. The Kaabil trailer was unveiled a few days ago and it met with mixed reviews.
Imtiaz Ali hasn't confirmed the name of his upcoming movie with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, which is tentatively titled The Ring. The film’s first schedule took place in Europe, and both, Khan and Sharma, were based out of the continent for over two months. While Anushka returned to promote Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, SRK continued to shoot for the movie. The Ring will most likely release for Diwali 2017.
This one is a sequel of sorts to Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt’s 2014 hit movie – Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. The duo, who will be seen in an all-new avatar in Badrinath Ki Dulhania, are currently shooting the film’s last schedule in Singapore. Produced by Karan Johar, the movie will hit the theatres on March 10th 2017.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who broke into the big league with M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, is prepping for his role as a rock star in Takadum. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film also features Parineeti Chopra and Irrfan Khan. Rajput’s Raabta and Parineeti’s Meri Pyaari Bindu will be out before Takadum, as the script is being reworked.
