Verdict: A beautiful amalgamation of love and friendship.
Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi starring Ram Pothineni, Anupama Parameswaran and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles is directed by Nenu Shailaja fame Kishore Tirumala and produced by Krishna Chaithanya and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore under Sravanthi Cinematics banner. Edited by Sreekar Prasad, the music of Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi is given by Devi Sri Prasad while Sameer Reddy handled cinematography. Apart from the lead cast, we also have Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Kireeti among the rest of cast. Anish Ambrose is seen in a cameo. After the recent success of Nenu Shailaja, Ram and Kishore Tirumala are coming back together with Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi. Touted to be an emotional love story with friendship as the USP, let’s see what is in store for the audience.
What’s It About:
Abhiram (Ram Pothineni) and Vasu (Sree Vishnu) are childhood buddies who share a great bond. Abhi grows up to be a straightforward guy who knows exactly what he wants in life. Abhi and Vasu remain thick friends even in their adulthood. The test of their friendship starts when Maha (Anupama Parameswaran) enters the scene. Maha and Abhiram happen to meet each other and get close in no matter of time. Vasu, who is away to Delhi on his professional work returns to find his love in the form of Maha. Though it sounds like an age-old triangle love story, it is actually not. To see what makes it different, book a ticket for Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi at a theatre near you and fell the magic of love and friendship.
Though the basic plot of Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi is as old as the hills, it is the performance from Ram and Anupama that made the difference; this coupled with the effective dialogues of Kishore Tirumala and excellent music and background score from Devi Sri Prasad. Ram is fantastic throughout the movie and so is Anupama. Emotional scenes with a soothing background score and brilliant cinematography took this movie to a different level. Songs in the movie add to the story and are not imaginary ones that might have spoiled the narration.
What Could Have Been Better:
Though the story is centered towards Sree Vishnu’s character, there is not much that we could see him emote rather than giving the same expressions that we saw in his earlier movies. Lavanya Tripathi who enters in the second half could have been better. A movie of this genre would be more effective if the climax is effective. Though we have a decent climax here, it seems monotonous.
Why You Should Watch:
Vunnadi Okate Zindagi is a movie full of life, love, and friendship and one that can be watched with the whole family. It has plenty of touching emotions that the youth can easily connect with.
