Happy birthday, Bryan Cranston! Or as many of us know him, Walter White, the ultimate badass. One of the greatest TV shows of all time, Breaking Bad, aired its five seasons from 2008 to 2013. Just in case you have been living under a crystallized rock, the show follows a chemistry teacher who discovers that he has cancer and decides to get into the meth-making business to repay his medical debts. He partners with his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). White (street name – Heisenberg) uses his chemistry skills to produce the drug (methamphetamine) while Pinkman uses his distribution skills as a dealer. It seems to go great at first, but things obviously begin to break bad.
Walter's family consists of his beloved wife Skyler and two children, Walter, Jr. who has cerebral palsy and Holly, an infant. The show also features Skyler's sister Marie Schrader and her husband Hank, a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent. Walter hires lawyer Saul Goodman, who connects him with a private investigator and fixer Mike Ehrmantraut and in turn Mike's employer, drug kingpin Gus Fring.
When a person who cooks meth has a narc for a brother-in-law, something is surely going to hit the fan. It is an absolute test (even for the viewer) of ethics, morals, values, principles and more, to see him transform from the good-natured teacher to one of the biggest ruthless kingpins in the drug business. Today, on Cranston's birthday, let's have a look at his top moments from the show. Remember, he is the one who knocks!
