When Bollywood Celebs Spoke Too Much

"Let me clear it once and for all, I was never offered Befikre. But had I been offered, I wouldn't have done it”, is what Sushant Singh Rajput said in a recent interview to a leading newspaper. The actor was under a three-film contract with Yash Raj Films but the relationship soured when Aditya Chopra decided to shelve Shekhar Kapur’s Paani, a film for which Rajput gave up several offers. SSR’s remark hasn’t been taken well and several industry folks claim that he has gotten too big for his boots post the success of M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. But Sushant is not to first actor to openly slam his competition. Find out what others have said in the past.

Aamir Khan

In a blog post, Aamir once claimed that Shah Rukh is licking his feet. He later cleared the air by stating that it was a dog that he was talking about. The Dangal actor was also vocal about how Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black was an "overrated film". His comment didn’t go down well the movie’s lead actor, Amitabh Bachchan.

Salman Khan

bollywood

Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were dear friends but things changed when the director started working with other actors. At a charity function, Khan had mocked the box-office collections of Guzaarish and SLB was extremely upset about it. Hrithik Roshan, too, said that Salman should be more careful with his words.

Amitabh Bachchan

No one expected Amitabh Bachchan to make a snide remark about Shah Rukh Khan, but he did. Bachchan spoke highly about the TRPs of Kaun Banega Crorepati and how SRK’s Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? was a flop.

Kareena Kapoor Khan

bollywood

Since she was the initial choice for Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Kareena Kapoor Khan made it a point to say that Deepika had to thank her for grabbing the role. Padukone hit back with a tongue-in-cheek comment on Koffee with Karan.
