Who’s The Scariest Of Them All?

Robert Lawrence Stine or R.L. Stine as he’s popularly known, has been terrorizing teens with his Goosebumps series since 1992. If you’ve ever double-checked your doors and windows, looked under your bed, and left the light on all night, you know what I am talking about. The man has been synonymous with monsters that don’t let one sleep, and now these horrors have come to life. Calm down, it’s only on screen! These creepy creatures that populate his books, and feature in the upcoming Goosebumps movie, play on people’s most irrational fears and star in their nightmares. We’ll leave you to decide who’s the most frightening of them all. (Do keep the lights on while you read!)

Slappy the Dummy

"Karru Marri Odonna Loma Molonu Karrano!"  If you just read the words aloud, beware! You’ve brought Slappy, the evil ventriloquist dummy to life. He’s now going to make you his slave! This mastermind is the mobilizing force behind all the monsters in the Goosebumps movie.

The Lawn Gnomes

These Santa-like characters are anything but benevolent. They are Mischief Gnomes who thrive on creating trouble for those who harbor them. Plus, there are 600 of them! Worried now?

The Giant Praying Mantis

The praying mantis doesn’t get much good press- especially not, when it is fifty-feet tall. And has large, sharp teeth. And saliva like molten tar. And chases you down the street! Watch out for this goosebumps-inducing monster.

The Werewolf

Werewolves have recurring roles in Goosebumps stories, and if their long teeth and fierce appearance doesn’t creep you out, their love of flesh certainly will! Goosebumps’ Werewolves are especially scary, as you don’t have to be bitten by one to turn into a werewolf yourself; just touching their sweat is enough. Ewwwwww!

The Invisible Boy

The Invisible Boy a.k.a. Brent Green proves to be the nemesis to R.L. Stine himself. He is a real human boy with an axe to grind. And he won’t let anyone stop him!
