Once in a few years comes a Bollywood pairing we absolutely adore. They look great together on screen, they understand and complement each others’ style, and people love what they bring to the screen. Take Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, for example. Or Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. These jodis never seem to go out of style. While there are many such winning combos, they don’t seem to work together enough. However, a series of current and upcoming films feature some of our favorite pairs coming together, and we couldn’t be any happier. Here are five such jodis we have loved in the past and continue to do so.
Tabu – Ajay Devgn
They share brilliant chemistry on-screen. After the 1999-released Thakshak, they were seen together again this year in Drishyam, which is being hailed as one of the best thrillers of Bollywood in recent times.
SRK – Kajol
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol will always be the quintessential on-screen couple, thanks to Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. They just look the best together, don’t they? Last seen together in My Name Is Khan, the two megastars will romance each other once again in Rohit Shetty‘s upcoming film, Dilwale.
Abhishek Bachchan – Riteish Deshmukh
These two buddies brought the house down in Bluffmaster. They were a riot, and the camaraderie was there for everybody to see. However, they never worked together after that one movie. Never say never though because they will soon be seen in Housefull 3 and Bluffmaster 2.
John Abraham – Abhishek Bachchan
The budding bromance began in Dhoom, when the two actors worked together for the first time. They then made history as the ‘gay couple’ in Dostana, and now fans will see them together again in Hera Pheri 3. So, who’s excited?
Sooraj Barjatya – Salman Khan
This director – actor combo has been a sure recipe for box office success. With iconic films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hain, you’d expect them to collaborate more often. They didn’t though. Over a decade later, they’ve teamed up yet again for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which releases in Diwali!
They say good things come in pairs. We agree.
