The sequel of Now You See Me has an official title. And no. It’s not called ‘Now You Don’t’. The upcoming movie is called ‘Now You See Me: The Second Act.’ And guess who stars in it? The audience will see the real wizard of cinema – none other than The Boy Who Lived aka Daniel Radcliffe. He is definitely going to have some fascinating tricks up his sleeves!
Here’s the first look of the cast –
The movie will also feature Lizzy Caplan, widely known for her roles in ‘Masters of Sex’, ‘True Blood’ and the more recent and controversial – ‘The Interview’ with James Franco and Seth Rogen. The rest of the cast includes Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Caine, and Jay Chou. Sadly, Isla Fisher will not be seen in this sequel, as she decided to drop out of the film due to her recent pregnancy. The movie just won’t feel the same without her. Another significant name missing from the cast is Morgan Freeman.
The film will be directed by Jon M. Chu, who is known for his work in the Step Up series and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. It is being shot in London. While Mark Ruffalo is juggling his time between Avengers: Age of Ultron and Now You See Me 2, Jesse Eisenberg is shooting for Batman vs. Superman as well.
