Two years ago, Hardwell's goal of raising money through music resulted in one of the biggest concerts of the year. This year, with World's Biggest Guestlist Festival, Hardwell aimed to help educate a hundred thousand Indian children and thousands of people headed to support him in this noble cause.
The festival took place over 2nd and 3rd December at D. Y. Patil Stadium in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. With reasonably priced tickets, several fans got the chance to attend a concert, even making it the first concert experience for many.
Apart from the main stage, there were two other smaller stages for those who wanted to keep the party going while taking a break from the bigger crowd. Even the two stages had a line-up of talented performers who were just as entertaining as the bigger artists.
The line-up for the first day was themed 'Made in India' with some of the best Indian musicians you can expect to see on a single stage. From the most well-known EDM artist Nucleya to one of the biggest voices of music – Adnan Sami, it was a spectacular celebration of desi beats. Sami performed his hit songs, including his most famous track – Lift Kara De. SHAAN, who had performed for the last Guestlist4Good event, returned to play on both the days. Dutch DJs Suyano, KillTheBuzz, and W&W were some of the most anticipated artists of the second day.
The final act was the one everybody had been waiting for. Hardwell finally took the stage with a grand opening. He performed for nearly two hours with unrelenting energy. Hardwell's engaging performance kept the crowd upbeat after the long day of music. He not only played fan-favorite tracks like Spaceman, Badam, and Arcadia, but also dropped some new music. He played remixes of popular songs from all genres, from Linkin Park's Numb to Sia's Titanium.
The party finally came to an end with a brilliant fireworks display that lit up the night sky. WBGF was definitely a concert experience unlike any other and India is going to be eagerly waiting for the next edition.
