A day-long Indian classical music conference featuring sitarist Pandit Budhaditya Mukherjee (with Sri Soumen Nandy on tabla), Grammy-nominated flute maestro Shashank Subramanyam (with Pandit Subhankar Banerjee on tabla), vocalist Dr. Ashwini Bhide Deshpande (with Sanjay Adhikary on tabla, Anirban Chakrabarty on harmonium) and vocalist Pandit Shantanu Bhattacharya (Pandit Samar Saha on tabla, Gourab Chatterjee on Harmonium).
Over the last 15 years, Paramparik has hosted maestros of Indian classical music every year and many of those events are now parts of the Kolkata folklore. Paramparik will use the net proceeds from the event to educate underprivileged rural students, as it has been doing over the last one and half decades, and made over 8000 doctors, engineers, and general professionals out of the sons and daughters of the marginal farmer and the daily laborer. Needless to say, we are as proud as our alumni. Please support us by being present.
