Arinjoy Trio

Formed in 2015, The Arinjoy Trio is one of the most exciting blues acts to emerge from the Indian music scene. Led by acclaimed guitarist and vocalist Arinjoy Sarkar, the trio also features Sounak Roy on drums and Aakash Ganguly on bass. Known for their high-energy live performances, the trio brings together a wide range of blues styles—from Chicago blues and blues rock to R&B—delivered with authenticity and passion.

Their self-titled debut album was released at the 2019 Mahindra Blues Festival, where they shared the stage with legends like Charlie Musselwhite, Beth Hart, and Sugaray Rayford. They returned to the festival in 2023, opening the show and jamming with icons such as Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Taj Mahal, and Buddy Guy. With growing acclaim from audiences and artists alike, the Arinjoy Trio has become one of India’s most sought-after blues bands.
