Spirituality manifests itself in various forms in India like music, dance, literature, sculptures and paintings to name a few.
Devotion expressed through music has had maximum appeal since time immemorial. Music has always been the center piece of all spiritual and devotional activities in India. People in India have embraced and enjoyed all types of music. They enjoy Bulleh Shah’s Sufi poetry as much as Abhangs by Sant Tukaram and the Sagun Bhakti bhajans of Saints Meerabai, Tulsidas and Surdas as much as the Nirgun Bhakti bhajans of Saints Kabir and Rahim.

‘Bhakti Ibadat’ represents this multi-faceted cultural character of India with the most ubiquitous form of expression - Devotional Music. This concert is scheduled on Saturday, 18th May 2019, 6 pm onwards featuring some of the finest talents across the country namely Aparna Kelkar and Bhuvan Komkali presenting ‘Santbani’ and Pooja Gaitonde concluding the conference with ‘Sufi’
