Matchboxes were used as pocket posters at one point - carrying developments of the time, political imagery, film stars and entire worlds really.
Somewhere along the way, lighters became plain plastic. Here’s a way to bring some of that spark back.
Join us for a drink at Dolphins and a morning of clay modelling with artist Mani who runs Dussa Sathvik, where you’ll customise a lighter cover / incense holder / ashtray and leave with something functional, strange (?) and completely yours.
Just bring your ideas (or borrow a few from vintage matchbox art and Pinterest).
