Dev Diwali is a festival celebrated in the holy city of Varanasi 2 weeks after the real Diwali the festival of lights. The regular Diwali is celebrated by humans while Dev Diwali is celebrated by Gods when they come down to the Ghats of Varanasi and celebrate the death of demon Tripurasur killed by Lord Shiva. On this day , every Ghat along the Ganges is lit with oil lamps and diyas. At different ghats, events and cultural programmes are being arranged and travelers from across the world witness this festival through Ganges with a boat ride. It's a life time experience and should not be missed. During 5 days of stay and tour, you will soak the holistic cultural vibe of Varanasi and by the time you will leave, you would like to be here forever.

Day 1 21st November Arrive at Varanasi airport, our associate will welcome you and depart for the hotel of stay in a cab or traveler. Enjoy the rural life along the highway. Check-in in the hotel, relax and sleep tight for the next day early morning tour.

Day 2 22nd November Its the Dev Diwali Day. Get up at 4am morning and get ready to witness scintillating and colourful morning aarti on Assi ghat followed by Boat Ride. See the cremation activities at the cremation Ghat and understand life and death in Varanasi, also known as the largest cremation ground on earth. Visit Nepalese Temple and Magic lane. Meet the sadhus and hindu saints.

After the boat ride, get down at the Tulsi Ghat and understand the story of the great poet Tulsi Das , Witness the morning Kushti Local wrestling on the Ghats. Walk in the lanes and visit some ancient temples and monuments. By 10am, return back to the hotel and take rest, regain your energy for the evening festival.

At 4pm, we leave the Hotel for the main Ghat, visit all different Ghats and see Dev Diwali prayers, rituals and experience the Varanasi Ghats decorated with Diyas and lights through a boat ride. Return back to the Hotel by 8pm.

Day 3 23rd November - After breakfast, proceed for the walk of the hidden serpentines lanes and temples and see the Old Varanasi city. This will be followed by a visit to New Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Banaras Hindu University. Visit Bharat Kala Museum followed by a visit to the monkey temple. Evening 5pm, we will have walk of the markets and Bazars with local street food tour followed by evening aarti. Return back to the Hotel by 8pm.

Day 4 24th November - After breakfast, proceed for a visit to the weavers village, meet weavers families, workshops and schools followed by a visit to Sarnath. See stupas, temples, monasteries and museums in Sarnath. Return back to the hotel.

Day 5 25th November Let's do an early morning group yoga on the ghats followed by breakfast. Check-out from the hotel to the airport.
