Now in its 9th year, the Calcutta International Classical Guitar Festival continues to bring the very best of the international classical guitar to Kolkata.
Since its inception, the Calcutta International Classical Guitar Festival has been the largest festival in Asia and is the only festival of its kind in India. It has hosted GFA winners, composers, Grammy award winners and maestros including Nikita Koshkin, Roland Dyens, and David Russell.
In 2018 the festival will feature musicians from Spain, Italy, Portugal, England, Sweden, Brussels and Hungary performing solo and duo classical guitar concerts.

South American rhythms, Gypsy roots, Máté Palásti the Hungarian fingerstyle guitarist will give us a little jazz, a little improvisation, a little flamenco and a lot from South America with music by Jobim, Van Heusen, Snétberger, Guinga, Paco de Lucia, Sonny Rollins, Vicente Amigo, Yamandu Costa among others.
