Reserved Guided Walk



Book the time of a trained art mediator who will help you get more out of the Biennale experience! 


A group of 5 people or less can have a reserved guided walkthrough of the exhibition for a duration of 3 hours (excluding break-times) on any day by an expert art mediator. The guided walk will include 

- Entries of all participants for all venues covered during the guided walkthrough

- The Biennale Short Guide, a book describing all participating works of the Biennale

- The venue map


If you wish to reserve a walk, you would be asked to choose a preferred time-slot available on the day of your choice. The four available time slots are 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. 


The meeting point for the assigned Art Mediator will be the Aspinwall House ticket counter.

  • Each guided walk will have a total duration of 3 hours, excluding break time. There is a mandatory half-hour break for the Art Mediator after an hour and a half. 
  • The guided walk will only last until the closing time of the Biennale at 6 PM. The Reserved Guided Walk ticket is valid only for one day. 
  • The maximum capacity of each reserved guided walkthrough is 5 persons. In case there are more people, you will have to split the group and buy another ticket at the counter. Each ticket will be applicable for 5 persons or less. 
  • For booking guided walks for larger groups, you can write to [email protected] with the subject line: "Guided Walk". 
  • All persons above the age of 3 should have a ticket for entry to the Biennale.
  • The Ticket should be produced at the time of entry for validation. Entry will not be allowed if security features are tampered with.
  • Please retain the ticket in its working condition until the end of its validity as mentioned on the ticket.
  • The organizer reserves the right of admission and frisking for security reasons at any point.
  • The person causing any damage to any artwork will be held responsible and shall have to pay a fine equivalent to the market value of the artwork, assessed by the Kochi Biennale Foundation.
  • Professional recording devices, flammable, toxic, illegal or hazardous substances, firecrackers, fireworks, weapons or any other article which might endanger or unduly annoy any other person are not allowed inside the venues.
  • The organizer does not take any responsibility for injuries, loss or theft of any personal belongings of the ticket holder.
  • Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited within the Biennale venues.
  • Any person trying to enter the areas demarcated for the artworks, or performing any action that leads to any danger to the exhibits shall lead to immediate removal of the person from the venue at the discretion of the organizer.
  • This ticket shall not be exchanged/ceded/sold or transferred whether in a commercial or promotional context.
  • The ticket holder shall not engage in any form of commercial activity or marketing of any product or service within the exhibition venues without the permission of the Organisers.
  • Though reasonable efforts have been taken to ensure the safety and comfort of the spectators during the Biennale, the organizer disclaims any responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever caused to the property of the visitor.
  • The authorities have the right to take action against any misconduct.
