Overview: Dudhsagar Falls (literally sea of milk) is a four-tiered waterfall located on the Mandovi River on the border of the Indian states of Goa and Karnataka. Dudhsagar Falls is amongst India's tallest waterfalls with a height of 310 m (1017 feet) and an average width of 30 metres (100 feet). The falls is located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park in the Western Ghats.
Trekking will be only on mud roads and forest.
Trek distance: 22 km
Level of trek: Moderate
Day 0: Overnight journey to base camp in the village.
Day 1: Start trek at 9 am after breakfast, Carry a packed lunch and get back to the base by 6 pm. Have dinner followed by bonfire* and then retire to sleep.
Day 2: Start early at 7 am after breakfast, head to Dandeli & get back to Bangalore by 12 pm with loads of memories.
Accommodation: (Village small rooms only) / if not required, tents and sleeping bags will be provided.
Things to carry: Raincoat/poncho, id proof, shoes, torch, personal medications, extra pair of clothes, toiletries, first aid, and energy bars/snacks.
Cost includes: Accommodation, transportation, jeep charges, 2 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner (veg/non), bonfire (if weather permits), forest dept. Permission charges, coordinator charges, 1st aid
Cost excludes: Final day lunch, Dandeli activities/rafting.
Pick up points
6.00 pm: Majestic metro station.
6.30 pm: Navrang junction.
7.00 pm: Yeshwantpur metro station.
No camping allowed near waterfalls.
Cost remains same for both Indians and foreigners.
Drop locations will be same.
Drop timings vary at night.
