With Bhagavad Gita available in most of Indian Households, it is being read by only a handful of Indian Population. This is the result of not being able to read the shlokas in the original Sanskrit text. More often than not, the translations and commentaries does not help the reader is not able to reverberate with the translator/commentator. This happens because the situation and mindset of the reader is different from that of the translator/commentator.
Keeping the above in mind, our mission Har Ghar Gita is and endeavour to help understand the nuances of The Bhagavad Gita Chanting as this is the first step towards engagement with The Bhagavad Gita.
The Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between Arjuna and Bhagwan Shri Krishna. All of us are Arjuna’s fighting our won battles (handling life’s challenges) and more importantly each individual will have her/his unique set of challenges to deal with. Hence, it is important for an individual to understand and decipher the advice that Bhagwan gives which is unique to the individual.
This program will introduce the participants with the nuances of The Bhagavad Gita Chanting which will simplify reading of The Bhagavad Gita, making it more enjoyable to engage and more importantly imbibe the learnings in one’s own life.
