Come and experience the 17th century Delhi when its streets were filled with TehBazari (Street Market), Tawaifs (Courtesans), and Tanga (Horse Cart) on this Delhi Heritage Walk I host via SeekSherpa. In old Delhi the deeper you go, the narrower the streets get, the narrower they get, the more fascinating they become, but be warned, you may lose yourself in this maze of culturally rich streets. How then are you supposed to experience Dilli 6? - My heritage walking tour in Old Delhi will take you back to the city which was once second to none in the world, be its culture, architectural grandeur or the history behind it. Come and understand what the culture of these streets was in those times. The times where shops used to perform manifold functions and contribute to the city culture. Why the nobles used to send their kids to the courtesans of Chawri Bazar? Discover for yourself, what Dilliwalas did with the tiles introduced by the foreigners. How with the arrival of the Britishers some people followed their architecture? How one road constructed by the British changed the orientation of people towards King? Unravel architectural intricacies of Jama Masjid and climb up its minaret to take 360 degree view of city of Mughals. Along this culturally and historically enriching experience we will also go to some select joints which offer lip smacking street food of Dilli 6 on this Delhi Walking Tour I host via SeekSherpa
People of all age groups. Be prepared for the walking!
