RAAGSWAR features a handpicked set of top Indian Classical Musicians and Dancers on one stage on the evening of Friday, 29th March, 2024, at Uttam Mancha, Kolkata.

The young Sarod maestro, internationally popular Shri Indrayuddh Majumder, will mesmerize the audience with his unbelievable energy and his usual powerful, vibrant & immaculate strokes on Indian Ragas. Another young maestro, Shri Debjit Patitundi, will accompany him on the Tabla. Ace Hindustani vocalist Smt. Sohini Roy Chowdhury will captivate the audience with her soulful voice. Virtuosos Shri Hiranmay Mitra and Janaab Asif Khan will provide her with Harmonium and Tabla support. Famous dancers Shri Diptangshu Paul, Smt. Gargi Niyogi, Shri Rahul Dev Mondal & Smt. Anasua Mondal will showcase Kathakali, Mohiniyattam & Bharatanatyam and win the hearts of the Kolkatans.

ABOUT GEETA BITHIKA:

Geeta Bithika, an institution devoted to the propagation of Indian Music, Dance & Art,

was founded in March, 1960 by Late Smt. Bokul Sengupta, the maternal aunt of the

legendary music composer Shri Rahul Dev Burman. She was herself top grade artist of A.I.R & Doordarshan.

Her son Shri Ashis Sengupta, a Chartered Accountant by profession, and an accomplished singer,

runs the school continuing the legacy.
