Torna and Rajgad, two very historically important forts are located close to each other.


Rajgad and Torna, both prominent forts of Swarajya, are connected by a 9 km long ridge. The aim is to reach to the top of Rajgad from Gunjavane village and then trek to Torna top and descend from there to Velhe village in one go. The trek to these historical Fortresses of Rajgad and Torna is accompanied with overnight camping under the starry skies. Experience the thrill of Col crossings, jungle stay/camping, and locally cooked food.

11.45 am – Start Exploring Padmavati and Suvela machi

FAQ's

1. What is the Age group travelling?


Normally travelers of all age group travel with us as Journey of Travel is not limited to any specific age. To be specific for Treks and Adventure activity: 08 yrs. – 40 yrs. (it may vary from activity to activity)


2. Can I do this Trek as I am a first timer?


Treks are of different grades first timer can easily do Easy Grade treks but if you are physically fit you can even opt for Medium Grade treks. But for hard level treks one need to be physically fit and should have experience of 1 or two treks.


3. Is everyone coming in group and I will be travelling alone?


We get many individual registrations and few group registrations also, so no need to worry you will make some really good friends on event you won’t be left alone.


4. What all things to carry?


Every tour has different things to carry list it will be mentioned in the itinerary itself on the website. So you can go through it before registering for the tour.


5. Who will be leading the event?


Leaders are finalized 2-3 days prior to the event so leader’s details with contact number will be mailed to you all 2 days before the event.


6. Do we need to carry Towels/ Sleeping bag for the event?


You need to carry it if it’s an overnight trek or a monsoon trek. Other leisure and photography events you will get it in the hotels itself.


7. What does quadruple or Triple sharing means..?


Quadruple sharing means 4 pox will be staying in one room and triple means 3 pox in one room, extra mattress will be provided accordingly.


8. How many Female Travelers will be travelling?


Generally for every event we have 40% girl’s count at times we get 60-70% girls on tour.


9. Can we do the same event especially for our group..?


Yes definitely any of the tour or trek can be conducted specially for your group on any given dates. Every event to be customized needs some minimum count which will be conveyed to you once we get your query. For customization please drop us a mail on [email protected]


10. Will there be network on Trek/Tour?


Generally we don’t get networks on trek or while doing some offbeat tours as this places are untouched and are far away from human disturbance. But there are few treks where you get networks, so you can consider few exceptions.


11. Will you assist us with train/flight bookings?


We don’t assist with such bookings.


12. What will be weather of the place we are travelling to?


As we are fortunate to get birth in India, we have three different seasons accordingly you can prepare yourself for the event. But human disturbance has caused unwanted weather at times, if such is the case you will be informed about the weather 2 days in advance of the outing date.


13. Are Sport shoes compulsory on treks or Ketos will do?


Please don’t trek on Ketos it can be fatal at times as slippery surface may cause severe damage to you. Always wear trekking shoes which will help you with good grip or else you can get your new/good condition sport shoes. It’s about your life so don’t take chances Trekkers!


14. Can I join the leader before the meeting point and get his/her company till meeting point?


Yes you can definitely do that leader details will be mailed to you so you can get in touch with the leader and take his company it will be a great fun as you can enjoy his old experiences.


15. Can I get pick up on the way?


Yes of course, but only if it’s on the route / highway and you are ready to wait for a longer time considering delay of Pune traffic.


16. What will be your pick up and drop point?


Pick up and drop point is Plus Valley Adventure’s Office.


17. I am just a learner can I still join photography special tours?


All the photography tours are perfect for the learners, as you will get to learn from the Expert about photography and co-travelers also share their experience. So don’t hesitate just go for it. !!


18. How many people will be there in Gypsy for a Tiger safari tour?


All wildlife safaris will have 6pax in one gypsy.


19. Can I get a Safari on 4 sharing basis?


Definitely yes, but it will be on extra cost and you need to inform us well in advance.


20. Can I get room on twin sharing?


Definitely yes, but it will be on extra cost and you need to inform us well in advance.


21. I am Jain, so will you be able to arrange Jain food for me?


Yes all the Hotels provide Jain food. But if you are asking for trek meals we need to confirm it first from the locals at the base village.


22. Can we Drink & Smoke?


No we don’t allow hard drinks on our tours. It’s disturbing and at times causes big issues on tours.


23. How will be the bus?


For all our tours we provide Non Ac buses.


24. I can’t bring packed lunch so can I get lunch on trek from any hotel?


Normally we arrange treks to remote areas so don’t expect any hotels in that area, but in few treks locals can help you with lunch or dinner on extra cost.


25. Will there be any changing/ Washroom facility available on trek?


One can change clothes in local villager’s house, but there are exceptions while trekking where we don’t get any facilities so it’s always out in woods.


26. Can I pay on spot for the event?


We are so sorry! We strictly don’t accept cash on tours you need to pay in advance!!

  • Pay heed to the trek leader or instructor in order to enjoy a safe and sound trekking experience.
  • Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants 48hrs prior /during the trek.
  • Avoid trekking during the nights.
  • Before undertaking the trek, consult a physician.
  • Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the trek.
  • The trek takes place through eco-friendly zone; do not encourage littering the local sites or campsites. 
  • If the Client wants to cancel the tour, he must intimate the company in writing to [email protected]
  • If the booking has been registered by one or more persons for themselves and for others mentioned in the form, communication send by such person through email mentioning one or more persons names, contacts details would be treated as valid communication for cancellation for all such persons unless otherwise intimated.
  • The computation of the period of notice of cancellation shall commence only from the time the written request reaches the Firm on [email protected] on working days within the office timings.
  • Refund will be paid by NEFT only (no cash/ cheque) within 45 days of camp conclusion.
  • Whatever the reason, substitution of one camper with another is not permitted.
  • Request for cancellation and refund should be made in writing through Email only. Verbal / Phone communication is not acceptable. However, you can phone to check whether your cancellation has been processed Refund Norms.
  • The Client would have to strictly follow the Tour Program.
  • There shall be no refund, if the Client fails to join at the commencement of the tour, or joins the tour late or leaves the tour before the culmination.
  • It shall be the responsibility of the Client to reach the place of commencement of the Tour and register with the representative of the Firm at the appointed place, date and time.
  • In case a Client along with his companion is compelled to discontinue the tour due to any reasons whatsoever including injury, illness, death or any other reason, no claim shall be entertained for refund of money.
  • If the Client is unable to reach the place of commencement of the Tour due to any reason whatsoever, his booking shall be treated as “no show” on the tour and 100% cancellation charges would be levied.
  • The Client shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other co-travellers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to the property of the Firm or any independent contractor, any co-traveller or others. The Firm shall be under no liability for acts of such a Client and reserves the right to ask him to leave the tour midway if felt necessary. In such a case, no refund shall be payable by the Firm to the Client.
