Ramanagara Trek and Kayaking

Ramanagara is approximately 50 km southwest of Bangalore. It has an average elevation of 747 metres (2450 feet). Ramanagara is famous for the huge rocky outcroppings.

This region has several tall granitic hills which are famous for many short rock climbs, typically 1 to 2 pitches in length. Grades vary from 5.8 American to 5.11 American. It is home to some of the world's oldest granite outcrops. Ramdevarabetta showing the cave entrances made for the film Passage to India Another well known hill is Ramadevarabetta.

Trek distance : 4 Kms Level of Trek : Moderate

Itinerary : 

6.30 am: Journey to Ramanagar with below mentioned pick up points.

8.00 am: Reach base camp, have breakfast and proceed to trek with a team brief.

12.00 pm: Back to base camp, proceed with other activities, rappelling, zipline etc...

2.00 pm: Have lunch and proceed to Kayaking (life jackets provided) and back to bangalore by 7.30pm

Cost includes: Transportation, 1st aid, Coordinator charges, breakfast, lunch (veg/non), life jackets.

Activities: Trekking, Kayaking, Rappelling, Zipline, Bridge walk.

Things to carry: Water bottle, ID proof, Hat, Shoes.

Pick up Points: 

6.15 am hebbal/manyata

6.30 am marathalli bridge/tin factory

7.15 am eco space/silk board

7.30 am nayandalli metro station


  • If the participant cannot participate in the event, other participant can join the event.
  • Duration of trek may vary, depends on the walks by participants.
  • Alcohol is not allowed during the treks.

  • Participants must follow the trek place formalities from the government & by local guides or village people.
  • Damage done for sleeping bags & tents from the participant during the event, must be paid by self by taking the product.

  • Minibuses, Buses or Tempo traveller will be the mode of transportation depending on the group size.
  • Discounts will be given for a corporate/college/bulk booking.
  • We do not have control over drivers, as we are based on 3rd party for travels.
