The “Swaraprabha Trust” has been registered as a charitable trust which is solely devoted to spread and propagate Indian Classical Music among the people in general and especially youngsters.
“Swaranjali” is the annual musical festival organized by the Swaraprabha Charitable Trust. It is three days annual music festival solely devoted to the lovers and students of Indian Classical Music. Swaranjali is organized to pay homage to (Late) Pt. Suresh Haldankar, (Late) Pt. Jitendra Abhisheki and the (Late) Padmabhushan Pt. C. R. Vyas, the three gurus who have bestowed guidance and contributed to the in-depth knowledge of classical music of Pt. Prabhakar Karekar.
“Swaranjali 2020” will be held at Nehru Centre Auditorium on 2nd, 3rd and 4th January 2020 and will have performances by noted Indian Classical Music exponents like Smt. Kaushiki Chakraborty, Pt. Ronu Majumdar, U. Rajesh, Giridhar Udupa, Patri Satish Kumar, Kumar Bose, Pt. Shounak Abhisheki, Pt. Suresh Wadkar, Smt. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande, Ustad Shujaat Khan.
