The perennial search for new horizons and untapped perspectives are the motivating forces behind the music of saxophonist and composer, Yuval Cohen. A leading figure of Israeli Jazz, he probes and dissects a multitude of worlds, the links and boundaries between them. The 10 part KadishZuger Suite, is latest work of chamber jazz sextet, synthesizes western Romantic music, traditional Jazz and the Israeli music that Cohen grew up with. With its strong melodies, varied layers and textures, the piece culminates in a rich and complex musical experience with a uniquely contemporary feel. 

Jam Session

Time: 08:00 PM

25 Musicians – 1 Stage – 1 Night 

The finale will conclude with a large scale jam session consisting of all the participating musicians over the course of the three days.

Expect some stellar musicians & the highest standard of jazz heard in the city that craves for more, Mumbai!

  • Cameras, handbags, bottles, cans or tins are not allowed inside the venue.  The use of audio or video equipment is strictly prohibited.
  • No food or beverage is permitted in the auditorium.
  • The NCPA does not take responsibility for the loss or theft of any personal belongings or any injury that the ticket holder may incur at the event.
  • The event is subject to change and also governed by force majeure conditions.
  • The starting time of the event for which the ticket was bought may change without any prior intimation.
  • As per the discretion of the NCPA management, late entry for classical concerts will only be permitted in breaks between movements or pieces as indicated by NCPA users.
  • The ticket may be bought from an authorized point of sale.
  • The consumption of alcohol and other banned substances is strictly prohibited.
  • All pagers and cell phones must be switched off inside the venue once the performance commences.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited.
  • In case of event cancellation, only the ticket price may be refunded. The service charge or any other charges paid for and included in the ticket sale, such as convenience charge or delivery charge will not be refunded.
  • Parking facilities are available at the owner’s own risk.
  • No photography through mobile phone is permitted.
