The Piano Man presents Colour Bridge

A modern Jazz-Funk & Soul Sextet creating their own unique and recognizable signature sound is what Colour Bridge is all about. Initially formed as a quartet in the early 2000s this band consisted of four members Chandradip Goswami, Brata Deb, Debtanu De and Raj Banerjee. The sound added on a new colour with the addition of Mr. Arkapravo Ghosh who incorporated more of the traditional and modern Jazz feel to it. Being greatly influenced by the bands as well as the artists of this genre Colour Bridge being an instrumental band brought into vocal tracks to the set list by introducing Joyee Mukherjee. Coalescence of the two new members turned the quartet in to a sextet.

Mainly focusing on the originals also compositions of the pioneers like Larry & Lee, John McLaughlin, Chick Corea, Dave Weckl, Marcus Miller, Fourplay, Tower of Power, Earth Wind & Fire, Average White Band (AWB), Steely Dan in their own way.

As any other music genre this is a process of different past experiences, Hard work and practices combined together.

As said by the Guitar player, it is the confluence of colours of the inside world with contrast to the outside.
