December 21st: Kaneez Surka and Raunaq Rajani
December 22nd: Kaneez Surka and Praveshika Kumar
Praveshika Kumar, a left-hander who needs things to go right, lives in the Shakespearean era with a crazy love for stand-up comedy and theatre. She has coffee to thank for the completion of all her last-minute work because she is a media student. How she is the daughter of a Ph.D. professor from IIT still remains a mystery. When she is on stage, the floor momentarily turns into a trampoline with her overflowing energy by just holding a mic and caffeine, of course, delivering some of the funniest jokes one can make about their own trifles as a teenager.
Raunaq Rajani is a stand-up comedian and comedy writer. His Youtube channel had over 2 million+ views with over 30k subscribers. He used to be a writer at East India Comedy where along with his team they wrote famous parody songs like Trump and Trollpati, Welcome 2018, etc. Raunaq has done over 50 corporate shows last year and some of them include Times, The Taj Group, Kanakia builders, Morgan Stanley, Omkarlege Tour. His television appearance includes NDTV’s Rising Stars of Comedy and Cyrus Broacha’s The Week That Wasn’t. An Insightful Perspective and a sarcastic wit make Raunaq an act you cannot miss.
Kaneez Surka is an improviser, comedy actor, sketch artist, and stand-up comedian. She is India’s first female improviser and has been associated with The Improvisers collective since 2009, along with comedians Abish Mathew, Kanan Gill, and Kenny Sebastian. She’s been invited to four international Improv Festivals, ones in Amsterdam, Berlin, Seattle, and Toronto. Currently, she hosts a game-show called The General Fun Game Show, which has featured popular comics Kanan Gill, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Tanmay Bhat, Rohan Joshi, Abish Mathew, Zakir Khan, and several others. In 2014, Kaneez began conducting improv workshops all around the country, expanding the improv scene in India. She is also a part of the popular TV segment The Week That Wasn’t with Cyrus Broacha on CNN IBN. Presently, Kaneez also hosts the Improv All-Stars: Games Night on Amazon Video.
