Beedazzled: Learn about the world of Bees!


Explore the world of bees through a storytelling session! Listen to tales about bees and engage in an activity that helps you learn the various aspects of these magical little insects! The aim of this workshop is not only to showcase the world of bees but to also create awareness in order to help save them.


Sign up for 1, 2 or all 4 sessions! Each will focus on a different aspect of bees and their role in the ecosystem. 


Age Group: 7 years and above   

Charges: Rs 100 per session per person | Inclusive of museum tickets and materials.


Session 1: Saturday, April 27 - Getting to know the bees.

10:30 am to 11:30 am

At this session participants will be introduced to the world of bees, focusing on the different species of bees.


Session 2: Saturday, April 27 - Into the Hive

12 pm to 1 pm

Here we will take a peek at the architecture and interiors of the beehive.


Session 3: Sunday, April 28 - The Queen and her women

10:30 am to 11:30 am

This session will focus on the social life within the beehive


Session 4: Sunday, April 28 - From flower to honey

12 pm to 1 pm


We will explore the process of how the bee converts nectar collected from flowers into honey and have a look at the other hive products that are consumed by humans.

  • Age Limit: 7 years and above 
  • Please cooperate with museum staff and security personnel to ensure your safety.
  • Deposit large bags, backpacks and water bottles at the counter.
  • Take care of your belongings and accompanying children.
  • Note the museum’s established photography guidelines, listed below.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the museum premises.
  • If you need to attend to a phone call, please step out of the museum galleries so as to not disturb other visitors.
  • No outside food or beverages are allowed inside the museum premises.
  • No weapons or flammable items are allowed inside the museum premises.
  • Chewing gum, gutka or paan is not allowed inside the museum premises.
  • museum visitors are permitted to take photographs only for personal and non-commercial use.
  • Photographs taken on the premises cannot be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever.
  • Visitors may take photographs in the museum’s permanent display galleries and the plaza without the use or aid of a flash, tripod or monopod.
  • Video and the use of movie or film cameras is strictly prohibited.
  • Please show consideration for the experience and privacy of other visitors when taking photographs.
  • Do not take photographs of other visitors, staff, administrative offices, INTACH conservation lab, INTACH documentation centre, special exhibitions gallery, special project space and education centre without prior permission.
  • Photography is not permitted in the museum shop for commercial reasons.
  • The eligibility of the workshop is only for the aforementioned age group.
  • Internet handling fee per ticket may be levied. Please check your total amount before payment.
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue to pick up your physical tickets.
