Activity: Art experiential installation (The Stillness Project). The making of a cell womb with bamboo and cloth will help participants identify their dormant potential energies and utilize them for personal enrichment through an explorative painting activity.

What you will learn: Chittra is an intricate stylized folk painting practiced by the women of the Deewaru tribal community in Sagara of Shimoga district. Chittra is not just an art but a way of life associated with several rituals and festivals.
Artist: Lakshmi Ramappa is from Siddapura taluk and is a recipient of the Karnataka State Rajyotsava award and Karnataka Lalitkala Academy award.3. Woodcut Workshop
Activity: Woodcut is one of the oldest techniques of relief printing. In this, the artist carves an image onto the surface of a wood block using specific tools. The participant would be introduced to an understanding of the tools used, technique and learn to handle the block of wood and the method involved in drawing/ transferring of image onto the wood block.
Artist: Urmilla V.G. is a nationally renowned printmaker artist.
