Verdict: This movie is exactly what we needed after Avengers: Infinity War. While all the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and everyone else who lined up to see Avengers: Infinity War await for its sequel to release next year, Marvel has provided us with a tiny distraction. Ant Man and the Wasp is not just a very entertaining film but also a testament to the quality of Marvels movie machine and the creative heads that run it. Twenty films in, the consistency that Marvel has showcased is unparalleled and surprisingly, the films seem to be getting better with each new addition. Director Peyton Reed did not get enough credit for his work in the first part because of the Edgar Wright behind-the-scenes drama, but this is the film that will cement his place as one of the most unique and necessary talents in the Marvel family. ...Read full review
For a premise where the main guy can size-shift from ant to giant, the struggle is surprisingly real. No matter how fantastical the high jinks get, the people under the ultra-equipped suits are every bit flesh and blood. Throw in tons more of the genial vibe and cheerful humour that made the first Ant-Man moviesuch a lark and director Peyton Reed`s zappy sequel is the very definition of easy-peasy fun. ...Read full review
It is more likely that you remember the lyrics to the rap portion of Linkin Parks In the End than you do the finer details of the first Ant-Man movies plot. It had such a difficult production that you could almost smell the breath of relief most viewers exhaled when they realised that it hadnt tarnished the Marvel Cinematic Universes gleaming reputation. ...Read full review

As if shrewdly timed to calm our nerves after the big bang that was Avengers: Infinity War, Marvels latest offering Ant-Man and The Wasp is a breezy, lighthearted, and relatively low-stakes adventure. Its not as if the characters in this film dont flirt with danger, or that there arent any bad guys trying to do them in there are. But nobodys trying to end the world, nobodys wiping out entire citiesand boy is that a relief! ...Read full review
