SYNOPSIS
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment - the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Verdict: The perfect culmination of all the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. There was an idea to change the way we look at superhero movies and that idea has come to its pinnacle and how. The foundation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe lays on those fans have grown up reading comic books or even catching those []... ...Read full review
Irrespective of your opinion on the superhero film genre, you cannot deny that Avengers: Infinity War is an ambitious undertaking the biggest of its kind, making it a significant event in film history. Marvel Studios took a decade to meticulously plan this mammoth showdown of all their fictional heroes together for the first time on screen. To say that the MCU has a lot riding on this would be a gross understatement, evident by their massive marketing campaign visible everywhere. But the billion-dollar question is does it live up to the hype. ...Read full review
Not infinity perhaps, but a really, really big finity war. Colossal, cataclysmic, delirious, preposterous and always surreally entertaining in the now well-established Marvel movie tradition. Its a gigantic showdown between a force of cosmic wickedness and a chaotically assembled super-team of Marvel superheroes made more complicated by Doctor Stranges tendency to multiclone himself in moments of battle stress. ...Read full review
There are two crazy things about Avengers: Infinity War a) the fact that after ten years of buildup its finally here, and b) its actually worth all the hype and that Marvel managed to fulfill all of your expectations. This is a proper event movie, a cinema milestone, a new high bar set for theatrical entertainment. Its everything you wanted and everything you least expected in an Avengers movie. Its also surprisingly dark and disturbing, so get ready to order some drinks after you watch it. ...Read full review
Evil is a point of view. This contentious claim by Anne Rice in her book, Interview with the Vampire returns to haunt me as I hear out Thanos rationalising wiping out half the universe`s population to restore balance. His voice (Josh Brolin`s sublime baritone) is like ice - smooth with a distinct chill to it. There`s a surprising serenity to his malice, something oddly convincing about his despotic ideas of census control. ...Read full review
We are all, in our own way, chasing dragons. Large or small, permanent or fleeting, it is with these memories of the past that we look at the present, and the future. The elderly want to be young again, the young want to be free. Tony Stark wants redemption, and I want my blockbusters to remind me of the first time I watched the Avengers unite on screen. The first time that Iron Man brought the party to us, and Hulk told Cap that hes always angry; the first time that we heard that classic Avengers theme and saw our heroes in the same frame together, ready to save the world. ...Read full review
At the end of Baahubali: The Beginning, we are left wondering - why did Katappa kill Baahubali? After watching this Avengers film, you`d be asking yourself, and each other, similar sort of questions. If you want a one line review of the film, it`s this - Infinity War is the most ambitious film made by Marvel till date and the most emotionally wrecking. ...Read full review
I suppose any film with roughly 30 speaking parts, and intended as the grand culmination of story arcs explored across 18 movies over the last 10 years is bound to feel a bit overstuffed. Avengers: Infinity War, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, clocks in at a butt-numbing 2 hours and 29 minutes. I wont lie, it does feel long. But its also very enjoyable for the bulk of it. ...Read full review
Before we start let me make it loud and clear Avengers: Infinity War is fantastic and you should just go in and enjoy. Also, this will strictly be a NON-SPOILER review. This superhero extravaganza is a culmination of ten years Marvel Cinematic Universe. After facing several intergalactic as well as humane enemies in last ten years, the Avengers face their biggest and the most dangerous threat yet, the mad titan Thanos. Helping the Avengers are Guardians Of The Galaxy, sorcerer supreme Doctor Strange and Black Panther (also the Wakandans) ...Read full review
The time has come for the Marvel superheroes to face Thanos (Josh Brolin) - the Mad Titan. He is looking to collect all six Infinity Stones and obliterate half of the universe so that balance will be restored. It`s up to the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and other superheroes we have encountered in the last 10 years via 18 movies, to stop him. ...Read full review
Youre going to see Infinity War irrespective of what I say. So the only way I can add value is by giving you this advice manage your expectations. ...Read full review
It isn`t hard to see what Iron Man is thinking. At any given point, Robert Downey Jr lets us inside his character`s head to show us how Tony Stark thinks, and this - the visible personality, the unmistakability brought by each actor to each character - might be the greatest superpower of the Marvel movies. ...Read full review
It`s been ten years since the first film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Iron Man - came out. Since then, we have been through 18 films and more than 40 characters. Unlike DC, Marvel has typically stuck to keeping things safe. The most risk they took was having Rhodes aka Warmachine get paralysed in Captain America: Civil War, and the death of Scarlet Witch`s brother Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron which we did not really spend sleepless nights over. The good guys have otherwise lost precious little while saving the universe again and again. ...Read full review
