About the movie
Boksi ko Ghar is a poignant set in rural Nepal, exploring the harsh story of Boksi, a 9-year-old girl with a bright academic future, who is forced into marriage to an older man. After her husband`s tragic death, Boksi is falsely accused of being a witch and killing him. She is subsequently abused and shunned by her community, and forced to live in isolation. The film sheds light on how societal prejudices and discrimination can destroy the lives of innocent individuals. Through Boksi`s journey, the film highlights the importance of education and self-empowerment and the need for change in society.
