The two must race across Europe to decode cryptic symbols and codes in order to save humanity from a deadly virus created by a billionaire bioengineer, Zobrist (Ben Foster). He intends to wipe-out half the worlds population. To prevent a global pandemic, the duo must delve into Dantes life. ...Read full review

In spite of the undeniable all-round technical competence that the old team of director Howard, screenwriter David Koepp, cinematographer Salvatore Totino and composer Hans Zimmer bring to the enterprise, the film simply doesn`t pack the sort of punch that one expects from a jigsaw-puzzle narrative. ...Read full review
There are moments which justify the destruction of Earth and culling its population by half, like when this Armageddon can end Inferno. Ron Howards adaptation of Dan Browns torturous novel by the same name just added another level to hell, and Dante would agree. The only improvement the film manages over the book is that it finishes in two hours. ...Read full review
