Verdict: This sequel outdoes the original film in every aspect. Fans of Jurassic Park are divided on the reprise of the franchise - Jurassic World. While some find it unnecessary, the rest lapped it up. It doesn`t matter which side you are on as the 2015 film made enough money for the makers to announce the sequel almost immediately after its release. Hidden in the midst of it all is an intriguing debate on whether its worth saving a species once extinct, now capable of returning the world to ancient times. A poignant moment where a Brachiosaurus is destroyed, further begs the question of this dilemma. Sadly, this whole angle is barely explored, although one suspects it might become the focal point of the next entry in the series. Jurassic World brought out John Hammonds (Richard Attenborough) vision in all its splendour. ...Read full review
A few years from now, when you look up the words franchise fatigue in the dictionary, you would be able to spot a poster of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. This is a rare film that makes the first Jurassic World seem like the first Jurassic Park in terms of quality, which is a huge bummer since its directed by JA Bayona who is one of the best working filmmakers out there. ...Read full review
For a film series that was born out of reluctance, the success that the Jurassic Park franchise has seen is nothing short of miraculous. Steven Spielberg didnt want to make the first film. In fact, he was ashamed of it. He saw dinosaurs chasing jeeps mostly as an unwanted distraction from his real job: directing Schindlers List. ...Read full review
